Beshert
Pam and Jon are our dear friends who taught us the word “Beshert.” Beshert is from a Yiddish word meaning destiny. The word has come to mean soul-mate, especially when considered as an ideal or predestined marriage partner. Pam and Jon met in Professor Elie Wiesel’s class and this video tells their sweet and inspiring story.
I came across this catamaran named Beshert in South Florida. What a wonderful name for a boat! I did not meet her owners, but my guess is that they are as deeply in love and destined for one another as are Pam and Jon.
